I hold a BSc (GPA 3.93) in Psychology (Middle Tennessee State University) completed in 2010, an MA (GPA 4.0) in Clinical Psychology (Middle Tennessee State University) completed in 2012, and a PhD in Psychology (University of KwaZulu-Natal) completed in 2016.
Experience
I have taught at various grade levels, including small and large scale class sizes, and provided individualized tutoring for much of my career. Teaching is my passion and it's fulfilling to take someone along the journey of growth in the subject area of interest. I have numerous peer-reviewed journal publications focusing on various aspects of psychology. I have a wealth of experience utilizing statistics and various available software programs, both in the research work that I've been involved in as well as in the training that I have conducted with students at all levels. Beyond mere subject area expertise, I know what it takes to complete courses, how to prepare and take tests/exams, maximize the time spent in class/tutor sessions, and ultimately create effective study habits that help master course content and requirements.
