Experience
I have taught English for more than 20 years at the college level. I have tutored high school and college students off and on during that period, worked in University Writing Centers and at commercial tutoring centers, and mentored numerous students through college and graduate programs. Many of my students have gone on to win awards and become teachers themselves. I am raising three boys as a single mom now and wish to take on tutoring clients to supplement my income. I love teaching and tutoring, but my full-time teaching job does not pay well enough to pay the bills.

I am a mom of special needs boys with experience in autism spectrum disorders and ADHD. I volunteer as an autism advocate when I have time, and in addition to writing and reading (duh!), I love painting and event planning.
