I earned a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Louisville and a master's degree in religion from Liberty University. I am a certified teacher in Texas and Oklahoma, and I have over five years of experience teaching students from elementary schoolers to high school seniors in both classroom teaching and private tutoring settings. As a tutor, I take great pride in watching my students learn and grow. I believe that every student has the capacity to learn and succeed academically. By taking the time to understand each student's preferred learning style, I'm able to modify my teaching style to meet their needs to help them succeed. I enjoy using a variety of diverse learning tools and teaching techniques to help students understand concepts they find challenging. I'm able to help students of all ages in many different subjects, including reading, writing, literature, elementary and middle school math, and preparation for standardized and state exams like the ISEE, STAAR, and SSAT. I find tutoring to be very rewarding, and I love helping students meet and exceed their academic goals. When I'm not tutoring, I like crafting, writing, and making candles and bath products for the company I own.
